College/Young Adult Ministry
WELCOME TO the Fold
Jesus is the “door” and the “good shepherd” to his fold (John 10:7,11). He welcomes in all who would come to him, and cares for those who are already his own. Our college/young adult ministry exists for ages 18-30. We exist to declare the gospel to the lost, disciple believers to maturity in Christ, and develop leaders and faithful servants of the church.
Vision
We are a group transformed by the grace of God through the Good News of Jesus Christ, being discipled and discipling in the local church, and boldly and compassionately pleading with lost souls in the Valley to be reconciled to God as ambassadors of Christ (2 Corinthians 5:17; Titus 2:11; 3:5; Matthew 28:19-20; Colossians 1:28; 2 Timothy 2:2; 2 Corinthians 5:20).
Mission
We strive to create a culture of spiritual multiplication, by which we present every young man and woman as mature in Christ and entrust them to do the same (Colossians 1:28; 2 Timothy 2:2).
MINISTRY MODEL
Evangelism:
We gather one Thursday a month to worship through song and the preaching of the Word. During our gatherings, we preach the gospel and sound doctrine for the salvation of unbelievers and the sanctification of believers. Romans 1:15-17
Discipleship:
We gather weekly in discipleship groups to grow in maturity in Christ and fellowship with one another. Leaders host discipleship groups around the Valley during different days throughout the week. Colossians 1:28
Service:
We encourage and emphasize membership to and service in the local church. The goal of The Fold is to disciple church members and equip them for a life of service to the Lord and his church. Romans 12:3-8
