Sound Doctrine
for Everyday People

For the Gospel exists to provide sound doctrine for everyday people. We believe that our role is to support local churches, leaders, and Christians from around the world through online content that strengthens and affirms their life in Christ. For the Gospel was founded by pastor, Costi Hinn, and is now a collaboration of pastors and leaders from around the country to resource Christians and the local church.

HAVE YOU LOST YOUR FIRST LOVE?

In Revelation 2:1-7, Jesus gives a great compliment and a strong caution to the Church. Ephesus has been faithful to call out false doctrine and not tolerate false deeds, but they had also grown cold in their "first love." Every Christian will go through seasons in life where they have to fight for a first love mentality. In this episode, Costi Hinn explains what that looks like, and how to live a life focused on both truth and love.

Theology Terms Explained: “Soteriology”

Soteriology is the doctrine of salvation and is rooted in the Greek word soteria, meaning to be delivered or saved. A Christian is someone who has been “saved” from sin, death, and hell because they placed their faith in Jesus Christ (Romans 8:1).

MORE THAN A HEALER

Not the Jesus You Want, but the Jesus You Need.

“In More Than a Healer, Pastor Hinn gives thorough and convincing reasons why God does not always heal, as well as the best of reasons for why Christ can always be trusted when there is no miracle. I give this powerful work a solid thumbs-up.”

— JONI EARECKSON TADA

“The ultimate healing is in the resurrection, and it awaits all of us who know him. May our hearts overflow with gratitude when he chooses to heal here and now, but may our ultimate hope rest in the blood-bought eternal healing that is his absolute promise. Costi Hinn knows this to be true and is a voice of God speaking hope-giving truth in a world of lies, not only outside the church but sometimes inside.”
