Staff pastors

Costi hinn

Costi W. Hinn serves as the Teaching Pastor of Shepherd’s House Bible Church in Chandler, Arizona, and is the Founder and President of For The Gospel, an online ministry dedicated to providing sound biblical doctrine for everyday people. He is the author of several books, including Knowing the Spirit, More Than A Healer, God, Greed, and the (Prosperity) Gospel, including his latest title, Walking in God’s Will.

Alongside his wife, Christyne, Costi has co-authored multiple children’s books, such as In Jesus’ Name I Pray, The King Who Found His Self-Control, The Farmer Who Chose to Plant Kindness, and their latest title, Earth’s Epic Start: A Bible Study About God’s Creation, our Fall, and His Promises.

Costi is currently completing his doctorate at The Master’s Seminary. He and Christyne are the joyful parents of six children.

brett mcintosh

Brett McIntosh serves as the Pastor of Shepherding. He holds a Masters from Cal Baptist University and is currently completing his second Masters degree in theology from The Master’s Seminary through the mentor extension at SHBC. Brett previously served as a High School Bible teacher in both California and Arizona for 11 years, along with serving as an assistant baseball coach at Cal Baptist University. He and his wife Friezel have 6 children.

kevin hay

Kevin Hay serves as the Pastor of Discipleship. He holds a Doctorate of Ministry in Expository Preaching from The Master's Seminary and is currently pursuing his PhD in Biblical Exposition from The Master's Seminary. Kevin is the editor of the book Assurance: Our Confidence in Christ by Thomas Goodwin (H&E, 2022). He has experience in church planting and has served in a variety of pastoral roles since 2009. Kevin and his wife, Alicia, have 9 children.

*Deacon Candidates: These men have been nominated before the members of SHBC and now undergo a 6-month process of testing which includes both opportunities to assist the elders and be observed in their character and service. This process culminates with a review of their testing period and an elder vote.

*Elder Candidates: These men undergo 1 year of examination and complete the SHBC elder training program, culminating with a theological council and the laying on of hands in front of the congregation.
